I'm 6 months sober today and being brought to this facility was the beginning of my incredible journey to not just sobriety, but recovery in myself mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Very individual oriented with a team of support right behind you. I am living with the tools they gave me to use in and out every day. Just for today is the most important thing to remember. They gave me hope and so many opportunities with OP programs as I continued my recovery even further. They gave me my life and I am eternally grateful. I will always support this facility and the staff included.
This place introduced me to family that I'll keep for the rest of my life. It taught me countless things about myself and helped me really come back from the brink of death. The staff is actually awesome. The food was bomb. The people I love more than I even know how to explain. If you're struggling with any kind of addiction, this is the place to be. Seriously, it's a damn God send.
The Bluffs has been one of the best experiences that I have had. The facility in itself has the best views, the best staff and the rooms are comfortable which makes the stay a much more relaxed experience. The curriculum starts at 8:30 in the morning and our last group ended at around 9:30; thus a full day of education, coping skills and therapy sessions. A swimming pool, gym, laundry room and game room are available for use and rewards are given to patients with good attendance to all meetings. Rewards such as a massage, karaoke, pizza night, movie night and seasonal boat rides on the lake. The food was always of good taste and there is a snack shack available as well for mid munchies. I have made some life long friends who mean the world to me and we all still talk daily for encouragement and strength. I have also spoken with my therapist on occasion with updates on my progress. I hope to visit the Bluffs again but as a speaker and to show my appreciation for all that they have done for me. If you or someone you know or love are looking for a reliable and comfortable place to have an opportunity to make some changes in your/their lives; I highly recommend the Bluffs. You will not regret the decision.
Most of the staff are themselves addicts/alcoholics making it easier to open up. Food was good. Above all, I made life long friends that went through it alongside me and we continue to support each other in our recovery to this day. Solid place overall.... and I have been to many rehabs before.
I am so very thankful and blessed that JULIE CHRISTOPHER returned my call! She is THE BEST! Julie is so kind, empathetic, professional and truly caring. Her knowledgable, loving guidance through the admission/intake process made all the difference in the world. She is so communicative, and, informative, something you need when making this big decision and commitment. Knowing the step by step process and exactly what to expect was key to our decision. And, now the journey has begun......all thanks to Julie Christopher. So many people will benefit from our new life, all thanks to Julie. I would highly recommend The Bluffs for care for your loved one. We LOVE you, Julie!
This place saved my life, showed me a much better way to live. Excellent staff, beautiful facility, impactful programs. Best rehab experience I am aware of. Definitely worth the time and money.
I'm not really sure where to begin. I had been struggling with addiction for quite some time and I felt very helpless. After asking my dad to get me help he had found The Bluffs. I have never made a better decision in my life than coming to this treatment center for 30 days. First and foremost I walked into The B luffs with total fear because I had no idea what to expect. I literally was in awe when everyone from the staff, to the kitchen, to the med team, to the actual patients welcomed me with the biggest smiles and open arms. For the next 30 days I woke up each morning with a smile because I knew I was getting the help I needed and was surrounded by some of the greatest individuals ever!!!! I cannot thank The Bluffs for this truly amazing experience and I recommend anyone dealing with addiction to go here!! Recovery has been great!!!!
I would recommend the Bluffs to anyone struggling with addiction. It was the best decision I could have made. From the time I arrived at the facility to the last day, I was treated like a Queen. The facilities were top notch and the view was breath taking. The food was great, and I can never say enough about the staff, especially the medical team. It truly did seem like one big family, thanks to the love and support I received from everyone. I have been able to use the knowledge I obtained to keep me grounded since my departure. I absolutely love the Bluffs and the people I met. I consider my fellow residents as part of my family. Strange to say, but I miss the Bluffs and would love to go back for a visit and vacation. Again, a special shout out to the entire medical staff and RC's.
I personally did not attend the Bluffs but my son did, in April. He was hesitant in taking the whole program in so unfortunately he has relapsed but the good news is that he asked to go back to the Bluffs. If you knew him, you would be surprised and you would have the peace of mind that this facility is great! The program is good and like anything, you get out of it what you put into it. I talked to him every day, after the initial 7 day period where he couldn't make calls. He raved about the food and said his room was comfortable. He's heading back in the morning and my fingers are crossed that he will take it all in this time! The people who work at this facility are, by far, the best I've ever dealt with as a parent. They kept me in the loop and were very easy to contact and find out how my son was doing. Keep up the good work, Bluffs! You guys are changing lives!
I would recommend this place to anyone struggling with an addiction. I walked in those doors feeling lost, alone, and skeptical about a rehab facility and sharing my personal issues with strangers who i thought were nothing like me . I was so wrong. I will be the first to tell you, i was completely astonished by how much love and support i received by my fellow residents and the staff. You can tell the staff cares about every one and their recovery. I left with a new outlook on my life and an understanding of addiction and how much i could relate to the people i met there. I absolutely loved my experience and am thankful that I had the opportunity to go to The Bluffs. It was a beautiful facility, great food, and fun times. Never thought i woulda said i had fun in rehab but i guess stranger things have happened! It was definitely memorable and just an amazing journey. I loved the people and the ride! I miss the staff and my friends, and honestly it felt more like everyone was my family by the end of my stay!
This place saved my life and gave me a chance to get my life back on track the staff was great and the therapist where great they do a lot of different things that most rehabs don't do I would recommend the bluffs to anyone wanting to get clean and find a new way of life
man I don't know where to start... i have and will continue to recommend The Bluffs to anyone that's struggling.. I called a random hotline and I was in great hands from that moment on. I was sicker than I realized.. and I was loved through it and I surprised even myself how fast I felt better and the progress I made. the staff is amazing!! I miss my therapist~ I met some of the best people there and hope to stay in touch.. it is a family atmosphere and that's what made it so special. we helped each other. I couldn't get clean on my own.. and I truly believe it's one of the best choices I've made in my life. oh and I can't forget the place itself and its beauty...the view is incredible and the chefs are amazing!! not the average rehab definitely above and beyond.. my hats off to the Bluffs! I love you guys..
The bluffs is an amazing place for change, i recently just left the program at the age of 18. If you are young just know you can do this. If you are older there still is time, if I can do it so can you.The staff is so amazing and willing to help you with anything. The classes are super beneficial to recovery. When you get there you soon realize you are not alone, everyone is a family there. Its such a beautiful place inside and out. So stop struggling with addiction or alcoholism and get help now. You never know when it's gonna be your last day. The bluffs has truly helped me change my life and get a head start on recovery. I finally love myself again and so can you!
The Bluffs recovery center is a great stepping stone to start a new sober life. It will give you a stong foundation through a family environment where the staff are close and the clients are closer. As you attend various groups and participate in various activities you will hear and learn about your peers and your staffs stories about their addiction and their recovery. Many of those stories you will be able to relate to and be inspired by despite coming from different backgrounds and cultures. You will under go a spiritual realization and grow closer to a higher power (of your understanding.) Don't worry about the past, and don't stress about the future for all you need to focus on is today. Recovery is hard but, you already know that. As long as you keep doing the next right thing it will become easier over time. You can't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.
The bluffs honestly is the best rehabilitation center I have ever been to. I cannot express how much gratitude I have for this facility I mean every single staff member went above and beyond to make sure that my recovery was #1. The facility itself is absolutely breathtaking and there's really nothing bad I can say about this place. I've been struggling with my addiction for so many years now after multiple failed attempts at getting sober. The whole entire staff made my stay so special. And i don't say this loosely when I say that the staff, peers...everyone is like one big entire family. The balance between real life skills, cognitive thinking changes, health, my spiritual side...they covered every aspect of my life and helped me learn to be a "normal" person and cope with real world issues without wanting to run home and use drugs/alcohol. They helped me fight off my demons, love myself but also pull me along and lifted me up when I needed help. THANK YOU BLUFFS.
My first time in a medical detox facility. The bluffs has just opened their doors about a month before I came. So with everything being new to the clients, it was all new to the staff as well. Which I completely understood. I felt the entire staff, coaches, counselors, nursing, everyone was very good to us. For anyone thinking of attending, your stay will go exactly how u want it. If your a caring, understanding and motivated individual, that’s the treatment you will get in return. If your difficult and don’t get along, your recovery will be difficult. I went to the bluffs with one goal, and I met it. Here I am now almost 3 months clean. If I can do it, anyone can. Good luck!
This place is so amazing. I have had the pleasure to go to a couple of Addiction campuses and this one is by far the most beautiful. There is a huge walking trail that over looks the lake and go on daily walks with everyone. In my past experience I never had the freedom to walk outside of the facility's. The walk and talk is a very big part of the Bluffs now and I've even put together a collage of photo's so my friends and family can see what goes on during these walks. There are several folks here right now that absolutely look forward to the exercise and nature part of the program. Five days a week we are offered this awesome opportunity and it such a relief to know I can go out into the wilderness with all my friends. This place just opened but it's making some really cool changes that are making it fun and peaceful. I myself have been a client of Addiction Campus and wish this program was open because I'm an out doors kind of a person. Also there is an awesome gym with weights, tread mills, ehlipticals, medicine and yoga balls. Oh ya and not to mention we have a yoga instructor!!! So many reason's to go to this place If you haven't seen what other treatment centers offer. I have seen so many other types of facilities in my life time and it's very hard to compare the kind of care you get at this one. Take my word for it or call me directly because I work and attend the classes at this facility. I constituently work side by side with the clients and have been one of the clients. As the Alumni Coordinator at the Bluffs I offer an open heart and hand to personally see that these folks receive the same kind of treatment they would expect to. I offer a motivational class in the morning that includes video and music so we can all come together as one. There is a National Best seller Book called RESET that I teach on the weekends and all of the clients receive this book on entry. I offer a 5 day a week walk and talk out in the woods of Ohio to wrap up our day!!! Though I'm new to this Location at the Bluffs I would recommend to anyone who struggles with addictions to open our door to a life worth living. This very program saved my life and gave me the courage to understand I'm not alone in what seems to be on ongoing battle. This course was like going to college and taught me A BALANCED LIFE!!!!
Take it with a grain of salt. No place is perfect, but this place is pretty nice
In my 3 years of working with the disease of addiction as a Treatment Counselor and Recovery Coach, I have come upon many challenging situations. The Bluffs is open and willing to meet these challenges placed in front of them. Team members are giving 100% of their lives to make The Bluffs a one of a kind treatment center! As a recovering person myself, I realize this population requires help from all possible people available. In my experience It has been an honor to work with this team! We have goals and areas to improve on, much like any other new facility, however we are well on our way! I recommend The Bluffs not only because I plan to grow in my career here but because I see the company vision. Together we can help the sick and still suffering addict. I am proud to be an Addiction Campus employee. I look forward to working with new clients arriving. Are you ready for the ride of your life? Recovery IS possible! God Bless you from a recovering person.
